Join UIC's Native American Support Program in celebration of Native American Heritage Month for a special event exploring Indigenous food traditions!
Chef Walks First (Menominee) will lead a discussion about Indigenous foodways, food sovereignty, and the healing power of food as medicine.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy Indigenous food prepared by Chef Walks First, showcasing the knowledge and practices shared in her presentation. Open to all UIC students, faculty, and staff.
