The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Native American Support Program (NASP) offers tuition assistance to current and eligible undergraduate students who are interested in serving as a Student Ambassador. The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for UIC students who are dedicated to serving and representing NASP. Student Ambassadors provide outreach to students and perform duties at various NASP sponsored campus and community events. UIC students can re-apply for the program each semester. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Due to limited funding, award amounts vary and priority is given to students with financial needs. Due to funding source, certificate, non-degree, graduate, out-of-state and international students are ineligible for this opportunity.

The number of awards will be dependent on funding needs and number of applications.

Students awarded a full tuition waiver are expected to commit 30+ hours per semester
Students awarded a partial tuition waiver  are expected to commit 15+ hours per semester
